The Elite Sport Department Of Israel
The Elite Sport Department Of Israel was established in 1984, post the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, by the Olympic Committee Of Israel, the Sport Association and the National Sport and Physical Education Authority.
In 1995, with the dissolvement of the Sport Association, The Elite Sport Department was defined as the professional entity for both ministry of Culture and Sport and the Olympic Committee Of Israel.
In March 2018, the Wingate act determined the Wingate Institute will collaborate with the Olympic Committee Of Israel in the operation of the Elite Sport Department.
